CD 8th-- Bubba Gum +130 over Exciting Metro (-140)
This one was +135 a few minutes ago and is coming down. Exciting Metro ran a giant race last time out but he seems to be very inconsistent and a bounce would be no surprise. OTOH, Bubba Gum is extremely consistent, running a close second after a wide trip to Engineered. I also believe the Beyer # on that race is a good 5-8 pts lower than what it should be. 7.5 furlongs is a rare distance so those Beyers should be taken w/a grain of salt. Before that, BG was a solid 2nd to Kelly's Landing, who since came back to break the track record in the Aristides Handicap.
