Glad to see this old hard hitter will have a good home after what sounds like a wild ride. Mott's first three year old and first big horse ran 41 times won the Blue Grass, Louisiana Derby ran credible in a couple of BC sprints and was very fast and hard to handle, had to saddle on the move as he would kick and paw in the stall. Coal black and tall he was one imposing guy always on the muscle. Remember him at the Fairgrounds in 1984 classic duels with Silent King, a compact chestnut- Delp trained closer versus Mott trained speed...those were the days.

Saw him break the track record at Arlington in 1:08 flat. That 1984 crop of 3YOs was one of the better ones I've seen.

First race back as a four year old TS won an allowance race under wraps by about 10 lengths, 1/5 of a second off of the long held track record at 6F in 1:09-1 at the Fairgrounds which played pretty slow then and I thought he might have a shot at the BC sprint win that year 1985. He didn't make it that year but ran it in '86 and '87.
