Picks for Belmont Saturday:
R1 #3 Cozy Flight-Showed decent speed in debut for different barn. Returns with lasix and some speedy drills. Faces a weak field here while shortening up. Expecting an good effort here.
R2 #4 Clever Greek-Probably wasn’t very well meant in last effort, his first off a long layoff. Returns with better jock and should get a decent pace to run at here.
R3 #4 Faster Tapper-Goes first out for superior barn. Velazquez sees fit to ride. Expect to see this one on the lead today.
R4 Pass. ML fav looks tough.
R5 #5 Exit to Heaven-Won from off the pace in her debut, so she’s not a strict need to lead type. Figwise she’s competitive with the two major contenders, and she’ll probably offer the best odds.
R6 #1 Letthemachinegetit-Trainer has been sending live FTS this meet, with a win and a place so far. This one sports a lively drill a few days ago.
