Anyone notice the $$$ for the P6 yesterday. I looked at several sites and they are all the same.

What's up with that ?

A real good reason not to offer a pick six bet at this racetrack is the fact that Colonial Downs only attracted $693 in its entire pick six pool.

I bust out laughing when I had seen the headline on equidaily.com for the Colonial pick 6:

"Step 1: Win pick 6.....Step 2: Shoot self for playing pick 6!"

Alas, the pick 6 payoff was for 3 out of 6 (according to racingchannel.com). Makes sense since there's no consolation payoff listed on equibase.com for 5 of 6. Still got a good chuckle out of it though.

Here’s what’s in the chart for today’s:

$2 Pick Six (3-3-14-11-1-7)
6 Correct Paid $2,194.40
Pick Six Pool $887

No mention in either day’s chart of it being 3 out of 6 or anything like that.

How do database guys deal with that kind of lack of info/explanation?

Never thought I’d see Pick Six pools under a thousand. :faint:

I don’t guess we’ll see too many examples using the old parlay yardstick to show what great value there is to be had in the Pick Six at Colonial.

Personally I prefer the seldom seen but oh so enticing three horse field trifecta play.

Maybe the sky really is falling. :bang:
