if you are counting Afleet Alex and Smarty Jones, with two TC wins in the last two years. But, don't forget Medaglia d' Oro broke his Maiden at Oaklawn, in Feb 02 and was then sold to Edmunn Gann, trained by Bobby Frankel. Medaglia was a good horse and ran a respectable 4th in the Derby.

Grindstone prepped in Hot Springs. Pine Bluff and Victory Gallop (won belmont) did as well. I can't remember if anyone else. Oaklawn definitely does not have the TC lineage that other tracks/circuits have. But if this ever changes to OP not having any say in TC races, which it soon probably will, then the fans r gonna be pissed. I mean 72k show up to watch the Arky Derby. That's Hot Springs population X 2. And Belmont gets 65K for their biggest race and their outside NYC I think.
