When we ran into private security forms during our convoys they were a pain in the ass to say the least. They felt that since they were not in the military they did not fall under out rules, and resented it when we told them what they could and could not do. One of the most humorous experiences I personally had over there was when I had one of the private security contractors looks at all of the weapons aimed right at him (Mk-19 and .50cals) and told him what would happen if he pissed me off again. He acted tough, but backed down - imagine that! As far as I'm concerned those guys cause more harm than any good that they do and if they all went home I wouldn't shed a tear.
