2003 - Empire Maker
2002 - Sarava
2001 - Point Given
2000 - Commendable
1999 - Lemon Drop Kid

I do believe of the above Belmont winners .. only Afleet Alex & Point Given ran in (and won) the Preakness.

Only three horses have won 7 furlong Grade 1 stakes and the Belmont.....

Secretariat, Affirmed, and....Alex.
Another trend broken.
