If you recieve a email with this in the Subject Line don't open it, and it says to run it and it will clean the virus IT WON'T it's the virus and it will send it to every one in your email address's

It occurs to me since virusii (whats the plural of that?) will be around as long as there is an asshole to write them, the way to cut down on their fun time is to memorize or make a paper note of the names that matter in your addressbook and THROW THE DAMNED THING AWAY (to protect others) AND accept NO email (to protect yourself). I really love draconian solutions...

Maybe it's just me, but the amount of email I get, not counting ads for porn, ads for making $60,000 a month with little or no work, jokes, religious messages from well-meaning friends, or my brother and one friend, with whome I speak almost every day on the cell phone is nearly 0 .....where is that damned delete button!

Larry,

Yes, but you might miss the message that could change your life! (How often do you get one of those life changing emails?)

What makes me mad is when these numbskulls get cght; after inflicting millions of dollars in damage, they only get a "slap on the wrist" The guy who created the Mellisa virus got 20 months. This has to change. These guys should get 20 yrs min. not 20 months.

No offense all, but what does this have to do with "General Handicapping?"

I dont think that is enough. He should be given ONE day in the big house. Each day he must play a game on the computer. If he wins he is free, if he loses he gets one more day. The game should be fixed like the "moving monkey" you much touch. ONly this monkey is fixed so that when the curser gets close, it moves. And Finally, if he decides not to play, he gets two days. If he runs out of life force, one of his family members is placed in an adjoining cell and they too must play the game. The game is over when all in his gene pool have expired.

Do you know ANY one at all who takes "no offense all" at being told to shut up?

Larry,

That's not how I meant it, just thought this should be in another section. Not my place though, my apologies.

Larry, thanks for warning us. I am a new PC user (former Mac user) and I appreciate being warned of virus attacks.
I think all CJ meant was that people usually post these on OFF TOPIC. However, this is very important, at least to me.
Thanks again.

Larry & CJ,

Not to worry... our fearless leader can easily move this to a more appropriate forum. (Right PA?)

That way you can keep running yopur mouth, Larry. (I've kind of missed it.) <G>
