or is every other race at Belmont a state bred race? Every day, including all three days of the Memorial Day weekend, you have at least two and often three NY-bred slug races every day. Today there were FOUR. Maybe good for the breeders but personally I can't stand these races and rarely even look at them. Of course there are other races to bet on, if you love 5 and 6 horse fields. The races at Monmouth are a lot more bettable. Does the recent Strangles scare maybe have anything to do with this?
