Didn't the Acorn always used to be the Friday before the Belmont? Could have sworn I played a few Acorn / Belmont doubles.

CJ, yup, it used to be the Acorn/Belmont double....not this year....

The Belmont itself is late this year. I imagine the Acorn needed to remain on the first Friday in June (6/4) however to maintain the spacing between it, the Mother Goose (6/25), CCAO (7/23) and the Alabama (8/20)..

The Flash and Hill Prince (both Gr. II's) will be Friday's pre-Belmont features..
