welcome to the board bill
i am satisfied with the programs i am using which are equisim and jcapper. both of these software programs have a demo you can use, for, i think a period of 15 days before deciding whether you want to purchase them.
you should look at the software poll on this board as there are some other popular software programs being used by members of this board.
as far as the software i use click on below to get to the respective sites;

http://www.jcapper.com/

http://www.thorotech.com/index2.html

hope this helps-acorn

ps; i am located just a few miles from belmont and aqueduct racetracks in bethpage

Hey I used to work in Bethpage -- a loooong commute from New Rochelle, especially on that wreck of a highway, the LIE and even the Northern State.
Glad I don't do that anymore

Hi Bill,

Just FYI, Sartin's Validator software has a successor, written by Doc's programmer Guy Wadsworth. You can find info on it at 2 Sartin related Yahoo Groups:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SartinAlums
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VDCMessengerService

By the way, for any old Sartin alumni, there's a nice picture on the main page of VDC Messenger from a 1994 New Orleans seminar, showing Tom Brohammer, Howard, Tom Ainslie and Jim 'the Hat' Bradshaw. Brings back some memories!

best wishes, Ted Craven
