Other than BRISbet and YouBet, is there any way to catch NYRA streaming video on the internet? Thanks.

http://espn.go.com/horse/liveracing.html

I've never used this for NYRA, but I assume it works.

The ESPN link won't give you video for NYRA, just a link to sign up for YouBet. You can get many tracks, but most are the smaller ones.

You can signup for free at this link. You get the video a few minutes after the race is official, but what the heck, watching any races on the Internet you are never watching a live race. With the best of connections you are anywhere from 35 seconds on up behind live time.

Here's a link to the NYRA races from Paritel.

Tried, didn't work. Says that license acquisition fails. Is there any website in Canada that may offer video for free?

License acquisition? Hmmmph, mine doesn't ask it, it just shows Belmont (and it worked for me before I posted it.)

You might want to try signing up to www.paritel.ca to view the Belmont races.

Can just go to the NYRA site itself.

They have a relationship with Race Replays. Can get them for free

Race Replays.com isn't the same. What fun is it to watch a race 10 min after it's official?

If your watching a race on the Internet, you are NOT watching a race live or in real time!

It's pretty much real time....YouBet is 20-25 seconds behind, and BrisBet might be a tad better.....

When I'm at the track I often sit where I can see both TVG and the track feed. Even they are 5 seconds or so out of sync. It's Probably due to different path delays.

free replays for NYRA races are at this site. The one listed above is for the subscription racereplays.com. Better than nothing especially if you can't catch the races during the day and didn't TiVo them. A couple of tracks sponsor free replays, most of them are by subscription.

NYRA.com: Begining November 2 check out NYRA.com's newest edition, the Online Race Replay Center. Click on Video and choose from a minimum of three weeks of archived NYRA racing action through the most recent NYRA race at it's current meet (approx. 5 minutes after the completion of the race.)
