If Stronach doesn't get " slots " he turns Pimlico/Laurel into MALLS for the locals. IMHO.

The lead in the article is wrong. All isn't well for only 1 day. I'd say 2. The Friday card before the Preakness is always outstanding and this year is no exception. As for the other 363 days, they have fallen off the edge of the world.

The only day they make money? I’m not buying it. Let the mall building begin.

Funny, when Stronach bought it, he didn't mention anything about a casino, only the glorious effect he was going to have on Maryland racing. :bang:

He can keep those infield tents for mall tent sales.

How many Magna tracks did Stronach want to turn into malls or apartment buildings at one time or another? Maybe I am wrong, but I saw a pattern.

Hey, didn't they run the P.S. one week ahead of the Preakness in the old days? Did I miss it this year completely? Seems it's right up Funny Cide's alley. Maybe it's coming this Friday?

Probably the MD Million and the intenational are money makers.

the MD lawmakers are oblivious to the needs or horse racing.

they should move the whole org to VA. without DeFrancis' involvement of course.

I visited PIM Sunday and that place is rickety. That is the only track I've been to where I would rather have been regular touristy activities than go to the races!
