A good one but was mismanged. "Trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear." Connections pushed him on TURF when everything about his racing style said DIRT, but going to the breeding shed I guess they wanted to prove his BREADTH of ability.
I remember betting aginst him at 4/5 and running fourth in a big grass contest last summer.
Funny how some people try to make a Mack truck run like a Formula One, or try to make a sprinter into a router (Houston comes to mind), etc. when they JUST ARE NOT THAT.
