The odds of him winning this award 13 years ago should have been longer than Giacomo and Closing Argument running one -two in the derby.

A short white guy should never win the NBA MVP award !!! Just kidding, he did a great job with Phoenix this year. I still would've voted for Shaq, but Nash was pretty close. Actually, Shaq and/or Duncan should have been MVP in each of the last 7 or 8 years in my opinion.

I think the improvement the Suns made really iced it for him. Nash definitely deserved it.

As for Rookie of the Year, I'd have given it to Ben Gordon but he already got the 6th Man award and I think they wanted to spread the hardware around.
