View Full Version : BOSTON GUY HITS THE DERBY SUPERFECTA !!
:) HORSE OWNER HITS THE DERBY SUPER !!!
Just got back from the track and heard that a local guy that use to own horses when Timmy Hills was training here has hit the Derby Superfecta at Suffolk Downs. I don't know the man personally but, those that do tell me he is a nice guy. Also, don't know if he is a member here at PA.
If he is, my congratulations go out to him.
What a score, Lucky Guy !!!

There seems to be quite a few Derby superfecta winners out there.

This is the type of thing that NTRA should use to promote racing. I saw a set of winners on the Today show this morning.
Yeah CJ, NTRA got their heads looking in the wrong direction. That is why a lot of Tracks droped them.
How did the winners say they hit it? How big was the bet? Curious if the winners had big bankrolls, lucky numbers or right place/right time? Like to find out how people hit those huge ones.

I have not heard how the Guy from Boston picked the Super, If I do I will post it.Several years ago he hit a bigger payoff on the BC.

Hertzog bought one of seven $1 tickets to hit the Kentucky Derby superfecta, which yielded the highest payout in Derby history. Two of the other winning tickets were sold in New Jersey, one each was sold at Philadelphia Park and Suffolk Downs and two others came through clearinghouses in Maine and Nevada, Churchill Downs spokesman John Asher said.
The gigantic payoffs came after 50-1 longshot Giacomo sprang the second biggest upset in Derby history
