#1... if you haven't already seen SIDEWAYS, rent it. It's great. Me & Solange
were told so often to see it, we got bored hearing that, so on Sat night I
went to our local video store & ... well, it was FAR BETTER than I expected.
(Minor nudity etc --- great acting).
#2 ...usually I get ~3 Emails from PA guys, but my Wall St post got me 10.
That seems a lot so I thought about it & here's my thinking: I am a CAUTIOUS
INVESTOR --- Personally, I like RISK & ACTION but I confine that to racing (and
before my blissful marriage) to BARS & CLUBS, ETC ETC --- but I transcended
that stuff (mostly) and in Money Matters, I like to make a Profit. YET, there
is no better place for YOUR money than the market ... IF & ONLY IF, you think
5 years or more. Sure, speculate with some funds, maybe 5-10%, but TODAY,
its very risky by my standards. Yet, I like UTILITIES. You will make
a VERY GOOD return, and thats my game. The stock market weaves & with
interest rates uncertain etc --- well look into UTILITIES.
#3 ... I posted that BLUE STATES would assert there power & force stuff on
Red States --- ah, that wasnt a bad-mouth remark it was reality. By that
I meant: 10 states, CALIF foremost + 9 others, Eastern coastal states,
have demanded HIGH car emission standards. Screw Federal standards, "IF you want to sell Fords & GMs HERE. do what we SAY or we will buy Toyotas in shattering numbers!!" Its unfortunate that Detroit's answer is that the FED
criteria is law ... ARE THEY MORONS?
#4 ... JP MORGAN will, immediately, no longer loan** to bad environment
companys. hehe, when a global lender like JP says that, can the Kyoto
agreement be far behind? yOU SEE, what is market forces anyway? Waiting
for the Public is worst than waiting for Taxis on a rainy night. Market Forces
are often made, not evolved. hehehe, These are your so-called Blue States,
