Betehorse.com is closing its exchange. Betfair does not take U.S. residents. Other than ibetx.com and tradebetx.com, are there any exchanges that anyone on this board plays?

Something I thought interesting is that the other day I received a USPS mail solicitation from Betehorse.com. Guess it's not illegal for them to solicit?

Barry,
Have you confirmed directly with Betfair (http://www.betfair.com/) that they do not take US residents? If so, check Betdaq (http://www.betdaq.com/) as it is based in Dublin not London.
Personally, I use both Betfair and Betdaq with Betfair being the market leader in terms of both markets covered and, most importantly, liquidity.
I would also recommend checking out the Sports Trading Workstation (STW) (http://www.sportinglot.com/Brochure%20Version%201.pdf) betting exchange software currently undergoing public beta testing - very feature rich and with a stock market look-and-feel. It supports Betfair at present and will soon support Betdaq.
Best Wishes,
John

Barry,
Unfortunately, on further examination, I have confirmed that neither Betfair nor Betdaq accept applications from US residents.
Best wishes,
John
