A little computer help

I have set real player as my default video. This has worked well, especially with watching races on Brisbet. Now, all of a sudden, when I click to watch a race it takes me to Windows Media Player and says it can not find the necessary protocals to play. I have uninstalled WMP and it still does this. Help!!

Try this: launch Real Player. From the Tools menu item select Preferences then click on Content/Media types. Click on (select) all the check boxes. Then see if that re establishes Real Player for your BRISBET sessions.

Otherwise, download/reinstall Real Player (again -- I know) and let the set up/installation dialogue to the work for you.

P.S. Yes, there is a way in Windows to change the application that's used for the different kinds of file extentions -- but I never can remember how to get to it.

Thanks for the help, but nothing is working. I'm about to head to New Orleans, for Jazz fest in a couple of hours, so I guess I'll just wait till I get back and try again.
