This card does not get me frothy with excitement....I am distracted at the mere mention of a cold beer. That said, I'll see how the early DD goes. I might be back with a couple later races and I might not.....one of those days!

R1
Like the way #1 OUTLANDISH ONE moved forward for Napier. Now he gets a top jock and figures to improve again. #7 THUNDER STRIKE is lightly raced and drops for Ronnie Allen...disregard the rider switch...Mata is off today. #10 TUFFING has no speed but kicked it in late in the last and maybe that's a signal that he's figuring it out. Finally, #2 POINT FEAR showed some interest in a shorter heat last time so maybe the added distance will work for him.

R2
It won't take #2 FORMAL RAISE long to dispose of the need-to-lead BROTHER DARCY. After that it's up to Pompell to nurse this guy right into the winners circle. If Tommy P. gets a little crazy on the front end, then #1 TACTICAL POWER figures to get the perfect trip and is a good fit off the drop. #7 JAMAICAN JUSTICE gets a good jock change and this bunch is a little easier than he's been tackling.

I will do DD's using 1,7,10 with 1,2,7 (extra on the 1/7 in front and extra on the 1/2 in back). Then a little 2-2 saver.

With 7MTP #1 is 9-1. If I can get 6-1 on this guy I will have a little taste on the front end.

Your live in the DD Richard and with about 8 min to post the one is a nice 22-1 would be a nice one.

Had feeling that trainer might be using the #3 as a rabbit to set it up for the #6 but I couldn't fathom her running the #6 above its conditions if she was really serious about winning with it. One more trainer nuance filed away!

Now that I've seen how the 3rd and 4th came out, I'm just hanging loose. These low-level, 2-turn events are not my meat anyway. Looking at later races now.

R5
Ziadie's #3 PATRIOTIC FLAME is being overbet. The only speed in the race is #1 SEA DOCTOR with a sharp work since raced. The best hoss at the distance is #5 C. R. FLYING STAR. So I will key those two and throw in the #3 for the save.

Know what? The inside sucks today. You don't want to be there.

#1 took back and came outside. #5 ran up inside and was history when
the running started. #3 was wide and ran down the #1 late. Got my saver exacta but 1-3 woulda been much better.

OK we'll try one more DD.

R6
If I'm right about the inside then #2 is not good. I like the #5 BOXED IN for the consistent efforts at this level. And, the #6 BURST OF DIAMONDS (no speed) adding the hood and dropping in from MSW. Should be flying late.

R7
#4 MIGHT PATRIOT runs well fresh and handles this course well. The one to beat. If the #2 ELLENTON LASS took to this layout she could be up there for quite a while. #7 TAKE A LOOK has a pattern of running some good ones then going sour. Maybe she will rebound but she looks sour to me.

I'll do 5/6 with 2/4/7 and then extra, extra 5/6 with 4 in my DD's

Right idea about being outside that's for sure.

R8
Like the #5 CIMARRON'S TIME best and then the #8 GOTABEANUREYEV.

R9
Toughie. Six can win this thing: #1, #5, #6, #8, #9, #10.

R10
Like the #12 SANTA STELLA best. Then the #6 SIGNAL CANYON....

R11
Don't have a clue!

The worse part is, it DID NOT affect the result one iota, the 4 wasn't beating that 12.

I think what happened was that Centeno on the 4 did a little "Cordero-wide" number on the 12 coming into the lane. So Houghton decided to teach him a lesson and put him in tight. Real Einstein move.....
