I bet High limit ,offshore at 30-1. Everyone is talkin bout Bellamy Road, but this is a serious horse. They may kill each other if they both make it to the gate, but i am very happy with my play. On another note, i cant believe all the hype about Sweet Catomine. I have been saying for a couple of months this is THE MOST OVERRATED filly i have seen in a long time. They can talk about all the exuses they want but her speed figures werent that good in my book. Good Luck !

$25 on Wilko at 20-1.

The Derby is top heavy on early speed (quality early speed) and will be won by a closer, IMHO. I think he's getting cranked up now that the hoof trouble is resolved. Ran the best race in the SA Derby while only beaten by a half. Galloped out ahead of the winner. Greater Good can also win it, but was 16-1 at the time I made my bet.

I agree 100% on SC. What a chance this was for a lifetime score! No way she wins because of the 2-3 year old progression rule. Her numbers as a 3 year old were WORSE than at 2. AND SHE'S A FLIPPIN' FILLY!!!

I liked the way the odds floated up on everything else as Bellamy Road got pounded on his way to 3-1. I thought there were some tempting prices in the 15- to 20-1 range, like Wilko and Blues & Royals, Bandini and Noble Causeway, a few others. I even liked the field at 15-1.

But then I got hung up in the Masters and never made it out to make a play. :faint:

In the first pool I got Harlington :bang: , and also Sun King at 19-1.

I have two horses from the second pool: Rockport Harbor at 14-1, and Bandini at 14-1.

I'm not off the Rockport Harbor bandwagon just yet...if he runs a strong race in the Lexington he'll deserve an extra look in the Derby.
