From today's Oaklawn Park Newsletter:

"ROCKPORT HARBOR OUT OF ARKANSAS DERBY

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Moments after the starcrossed Rockport Harbor worked seven-eighths in 1:25 3/5 here Sunday morning over a fast Oaklawn Park track, trainer John Servis went straight to the cell phone and called Rick Porter, Rocky's owner. After a brief discussion, the decision was made...

Rockport Harbor will not make his scheduled start in next Saturday's $1 million Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn.

Instead, Rocky will be loaded on a Tex Sutton aircraft sometime in the next ten days for a flight to Blue Grass Field in Lexington, Ky. and, on April 23, he will start in the $325,000 Lexington Stakes across Versailles Pike at Keeneland Race Track.

In other words...Plan B..................."


Talk about a hard payback for last years beginners luck.

Im sure they have their reasons not wanting him to run in that race, Hopefully its the correct race and he will win.Rocky is a hard knocking horse with a lot of heart. Good luck to him
