Thats horrible news. The only positive is that he wont have to suffer any more pain, and is "going home"

Now the Vatican is denying the report, but it probably won't be long now in any case. I certainly didn't always agree with him, but he was a great man.

Suff,

Back in the day.. say during the Building of the Hoover Dam, or Brooklyn Bridge... Unemployed Men would sit on benchs near the construction site. When a Construction worker fell to his death , they went right to the Bench

"Clancy get in there!"

Heard Many-o-tale that when someone's son or brother was next up on the Bench... Not everybody that was falling, fell.. ;)

Seriously. The Pope. Boston = Mega-Catholic area. I'll be Poped out by Friday. Nice guy, seemed to accomplish a lot. I might read his auto Biography this month.

CJ I don't know were you get your information in that backward country that you are in.

As of 10:00p.pm.here and 4;00 a.m.in Rome.NBC just reported.
" The Vatican says Pope John Paul II is in a 'very grave' condition. NBC's Campbell Brown"who is in the Vatican city."

I want him to hold on, but it is all in God’s hands now,So why don't you CJ, and Mike Dudley do as Poland and the rest of the world is praying that he goes peacefully and no pain.

A better religious leader you will never see in your time. Pope John, truly is the King of all evangelist. :(

I read they used to strike them 3 times on the forehead with a silver hammer to make sure they were dead.
Is that where the beatles got the idea for "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"? Maxwell was a medical person.

They announced he had died this afternoon over Italian radio.
My neighbor who is from Italy told me he had died about the same time CJ posted.....CJ obviously heard it announced over European radio.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------I hope you are not referring to [ the backward ass country ] as the country that gave you the opportunity to be what you are today.

Looking forward to seeing you at Saratoga.

My best Regards to you,Justin, and the Family. :)

Just joking John, no place I'd rather live or be from than the good old USA. In fairness though, it had nothing to do with where I live, that's all I was getting at, hope you understand.

All is well with the family, thanks for asking.

They do do that... Then they take the Papal Ring off his Finger and use the same hammer to Smash the Ring to pieces. Supposedly the ring has power , but only with that Pope, and they want to destroy it immediattely.

Maybe the pope is calling you from beyond the grave to make a pilgrimage to Rome.

If it's not asking too much, please keep any further comments about Pope John Paul II as respectful as possible.

Wow what a man this pope was, Endured a assasination attempt,Was the most traveled pope in history,Hell he even had a "popemobile" made for him.I remember him going to Toronto in the early eighties, What a stir he caused when he visited.Sadly after he was shot, Seems all started to go downhill after that. Its going to take some super papal shoes to fill his.
God Bless the pope
RIP

Although I am not a catholic, or don't have very much respect for the catholic religion in general, the Pope was a very good man. Anyone that can forgive and actually become friends with someone that tried to murder him in my opinion is Christ Like, because thats what Christ would have done. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Pope as a human being. God Bless him!

Tim eto pray for the Cardinals - they will soon be presenting the world with the next Pope - their choice is crucial not only to Catholics, but to the wporld at large. The right man in that position can do wonders.

Watch for the white smoke....
