I hit the Pick3 tonite at SH starting with this race and almost fainted!

7-2, 12-1, 7-5 pays $5100?????

Am I dreaming? (If so, I don't want to wake up!)

congrats, Mike!

Weird betting track, HOU...One race you'll hit an exacta w/a 5-1 over a 3-1 for only $40, then the next race you'll hit a super w/ most of the faves and take in $1500. Just the nature of small tracks I suppose.

WTG, mikekk. :)

Mike,

You're playing in the Cdn. pools aren't you? Pools are lots smaller yet.

Bill

BTW that is a sweet hit!

In the american pools, that is only $2 worth of tickets that hit it. There was $5798 in the pool and with the 12% takeout, that leaves 5102.20 to be paid out, and that is the $2 price, hence 2 - $1 tickets or 1-$2 ticket.

I was thinking he hit it for $1 and got $2550. That's still super money on a short pick 3.

i just assumed a dollar also, since most people dont play $2 tickets. either way, I was just stating that there were only $2 worth of tickets on the combination based on the payoff and pool

Nice score at those odds . Pick 3 is my favorite bet.
Hope you hit a few more before you wake up

MikekkWay to go MikeKK. Apparently most players keyed on #7 in Race 6 as the trifecta in that race paid $801 and super $12,689 with a 12-1, 6-1 and 1-1 order of finish. I didn't contribute to your Pick 3 score but did send a few bucks to those that played that trifecta. Y'all notice how the girl riders were kicking butt last night (won 5-of-10 and only 3 girl riders rode Thoroughbreds (one other rode an Arabian in the first))
