In hindsight, I handicappped the Gotham using Dave Schwartz's new 2001 Partimes and the Beyer variant for
each race. I used the last race on every horse except Spielgletown, where I used his maiden win.
My purpose was to see how the new pars shook out the different tracks and distances.
Hew are the results:

1 Richly Blended 113/105
2 Spiegltown 105/105
3 Not a contender
4 Scorpion 108/104
5 Marchiano 102/104/109
6 Voodoo 117/117/100
7 Regal Shivers 113/117/106
8 Mr John 110/104

The route races have three ratings and sprints only two. Scorpion is a thow out-proven loser plus low pace number. Voodoo ran a new top, his race before the layoff was only 102/106/105 so I can see why he bounced. Richly Blended and Regal Shivers seem to want to go to the front and Mr John sets good for a stretch run. Marchiabno won't run his 109 today becaause he will have to run faster early to keep up.
Regal Shivers looks to bounce after a new top.
My own play on the race was to Box 6-7-8 and key 8 in win and place. Close, no Cigar.
One thing was clear, Lukas's horse was not a contender and there was value in the race. I would rather lose on Mr John than Scorpian anyday-when you do hit, it takes care of a lot of losers.
I think the pars are good. They make useful figures just flattly using the final time varaint. I plan to make fractional variants for the long run, so I think they might even be better, but that remains to be seen.
