There are many approaches to this game, and we have many weapons to choose from in our fight to attack the favorite.

With good record keeping, you find your stenghts and weakness. That's where the foundation is laid.

Tony Robbins' motivational success formula is a simple 4 step plan.

1. Figure out what you want.
2. Take action, take massive action.
3. Notice whats working and whats not working.
4. Consistently change your approach until you find what does work.

What works for me is the playback system, simply watching races, taking notes and waiting for the horse to come back.

I know there are others here that take a different approach. Notice I said different, not wrong. CJ for one, does quite well by making his own speed figs. VALUIST is a key race guru. I could go on...but I think you get the point.

Its a long slow grind sometimes..

I agree about record keeping, made a huge difference for me.
My main problem is not spending enough time reviewing indivdual bets.

Racereplays and a copy of the form is very helpful to try and figure out what I did wrong (or occasionly, did right!) in a particular race,I just don't have the discipline to utilize it more often.

I like the "Take action" line not just action but "Massive! action"
