Microsoft Anti Spyware Beta Version

Anyone tried this? I ran it today, seems very good and easy to use. It found a bunch of stuff AdAware did not.

So far, not so good. I can't get the GenuineCheck Validation step to work. I get a process exception window telling me the code is not available.

Bypassed the validation. Found 3 new spyware programs for IE (which I don't use). Looking good.

I'll leave it installed for the time being. I don't see any reason why I can't run this and Lava Soft's product in parallel.

Why do the words "beta" and"microsoft" scare the hell out of me?

be careful, it works great.......but will kill certain favorites that you dont' want it to. I lost all of my racing stuff (thank goodness I had a backup) because one of the sites in that group of favorites had a "tracking cookie"
