The Black Eyed Peas.

Just listen to Elephunk. Very positive, very hip and the new addition of the eye-candy Fergie takes this band to the next level.

Anxiously awaiting MONKEY BUSINESS, due to be released in november of this year.

Yeah, 3 songs come to my mind ... Shut UP ... where is the love ... let's get
it started. But I think they've been around maybe 5-6 years by now so
the Beatles' revolution seems unlikely. But yeah, i haven't followed them in
a while, but lately the ONLY rap i'm into is Latin Rap what with 50 & EM being
so repetitive. so yeah I would hear B E P again. thanks, Shacopate

Maybe the Beatles of... is a little too ambitious.

Derek, theres also a song on ELEPHUNK called Latin Girls. This is the BEP's third album and FIRST with Fergie. Check her out on Fly Away, which is my favorite track.

This band is fearless and can use any musical genre to lay down beats. Everything from jazz to punk. I wish more rappers would listen to a track on ELEPHUNK called Anxiety, it's about being pissed, but being deterimined to stay in control.

Can't wait for november and the MONKEY BUSINESS.

Using the name Beatles in the same sentence with Hip Hop has made me physically ill. I have to go lie down.

Could someone please wake Tom up from his nap and tell him that Bingo starts in one hour?

And Tom, keep Fergie out of this!

I never thought about it way. That's a good point because they're all over the radio. Are you with Farcide?

You don't have to cross country music to make it crap Tom. It does fine on it's own. Mentioning hip-hop and the Beatles in the same sentence makes me reach for the barf bag too. We're talking incredibly talented with........words fail me.

YES, personally I don't play the Beatles at home, but I own every one of
their CD's --- as I do with other classics, The Who, The Stones, etc etc etc --
many of these full collections came from my parents as gifts for one thing
or another because they know music is a huge part of my life. Yet, whenever
I do hear the Beatles I think just HOW F'N GOOD they are, and I cannot even
think of ONE instance where they are NOT good. To be good over 1 or 2 CDs
is cool, but NO comparison to such output. And, as some of YOU lucky dogs
who SAW the Beatles in the flesh can testify, while guys like me only have
videos of them, it must have been total MAYHEM at Shea or Candlestick Park.
YES, whenever I hear, "I WANNA HOLD YOU'RE HAND," --- I often think,
"Derek, why didn't YOU write those wonderful, romantic, simple words."
yeah, who ever wrote about Holding Hands before John (and Paul also?)???
Doesn't it make us all recall pure LOVING?

You haven't heard I wanna Hold Your Hand until you've heard it on MONO! With scratches and hisses and skips. :D

I love all kinds of music...I've got Hank Williams, Richie Havens, Wu Tang, Leadbelly, and Otis Reading among others all in my truck right now.

But Elvis is the man, will always be the man, and basically can't be f'd with.

Zuki,

Same to you fella;)

With only Paul and Ringo left, they could still put together a better song or album than the entire hip-hop community. There is more to music than monotonous crap beats. Punk was more interesting. But then I'm over 40 and white.
And Bigus Dickus to you.
