Just wanted to tell you guys
I claimed a horse called DON HECTOR last august,He returned lame. I took x-rays and he was found to have a "old" slab fracture. He would never race again.I didnt want to kill him so I put him on a farm where he would be fed and cared for.Last week a lady bought him for a hunter/jumper stallion. She has 5 mares for him. Great end to a very sad story. Im glad I didnt have him put to sleep. He will have his harem in Williston Fl. The "Donald" will live on.

Nice Story.....I have a trainer friend who thinks the same way.If one of his horses should not race anymore he gives/sells to a riding academy with a very strong signed agreement that the horse wil not be sold or ever race again .
