What is this approach you speak of if you don't mind me asking!?

Tony,
I call the C & C an approach rather than a method or a system as this can be the "Kiss of Death".According to most pundits, systems and methods just don't "cut-it"
The C & C approach is a PLACE ONLY mechanical approach to wagering. I use TSN condensed PP's for the 4 factors that I need. I do not use speed ratings, jockey & trainer %, impac values, etc. and certainly not a software program.
I devised this approach March 1st 1998 an I am now in my 5th year of profitability, I wager $ 100.00 to PLACE on each single selection. Why PLACE only? If most handicappers who keep records and wager win only they will probably find that their R.O.I. would be much better wagering place only.
As I'm from The "Old School" that says if you have a winning approach in the pari-mutuel world, you don't sell and you don't tell!!!
Thanks for the interest.
Enigma.

P.S.I have been informed that for the 100 selection contest I can in fact use place only selections to show a profit. I will show the revised numbers with my 4/17 selections.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my post.

Place Betting? All to often I find my horses coming in 2nd and
paying high prices. I had one just Monday that I could not see
enough in this horse to be the win so I decided to use him in
the place wager. Horse paid 17.00 to place.
