R1 #9 Five Star Gold-Hard to go against the chalk here. He catches a paceless field and should get the lead in here.
R2 #1 Clever Cowboy-Here’s a connections stat for you: Levine is 5/7 with newly acquired runners coming off a layoff with Luzzi up the last 3 years. Plus his best effort comes on this surface. Expecting a good effort here.
R3 #8 Bustersattorney-Gets a positive jock switch here (trainer/jock 32% in routes). Should get a good pace to run at here.
R4 #3 Ochi Chernye-More than likely a live runner for Pletcher here.
R5 #10 Port Au Prince-Seems to be in good form based on his last two sprints. Ran his best in routes when able to establish a clear lead early, a very possible scenario today. Price should be right.
R6 #9 Mombo Loco-Didn’t run a step in first start off the claim, but the switch to go-to man Migliore here shows he’s probably going to run better today. Should get a good pace to run at here.
R7 #2 Thanasi-Like him in this spot. Will probably gun for the lead from this post and he’s braver when able to establish a clear lead. Price should be decent.
R8 #3 Song of the Sword-Has certainly shown back class and figs to compete with this group. Will have to move forward from his comeback win, but I think he will do just that.
R9 #11 Scarlet Billows-Goes from a 5% trainer into the mighty Dutrow barn. Think he might move up a little figwise? Don’t expect any odds on this one.
