Should have a sometimes button. It depends on the type of race, the pace of the race, the difference of ability between horses and the trainer's ability in this situation

Ken- I don't know but ,track and local hero's always take a dis-proportionate amount of money leaving legitimate contention with overlayed odds.
Identify the hero's and play against them if at all possible. BTW- hero's can be jockeys ,trainers or even the horse itself.
