Picks for Aqueduct Sunday:
R1 #7 Peace And Joy-Ran decent in a strong race at MNR last out. Good trainer is in a slump here though, so demand a price.
R2 #2 Kakapo-Barn is hitting a good 35% in MCL at AQU the past year. This one sports a strong worktab in his return from a brief layup.
R3 #3 Lovethatlegend-Seems like she hates the slop, her two poorest efforts come on it. Has a couple of nice drills since her forgettable comeback race on the off going last time. Trainer/jock connected on a 12/1 shot a couple of days ago here.
R4 Pass-Chalk looks tough
R5 #4 Darlington Guard-Has run well without the lead in the past. Got involved in a pace duel in his first start on this oval. Thinking that new jock will try to stalk this time.
R6 #1 Hummel-Responded to Levine’s care by running her lifetime best fig last out. Expect her to complete the hat trick here.
R7 #1 Jet Prospector-Showed he doesn’t need the lead to run well last time. Gets a jock upgrade and should get a good stalking trip.
R8 Pass
R9 #8 Every Trick-Got involved outside of a 3 way duel for the lead last time. Got the best of it and opened up just to be caught late. Three runners from that heat have returned to win. The ML seems high, but I’m still hoping for a decent price.
