Actually, Hcap missed the point....Bush's trip has been prodcutive and the perceptioin of Europeans who do not bath regually is not relevant. There is nothing of any value to be gained from the respect of loser nations. And France, Germany, Russia, et al are certainly models of losers. That must be the attraction.
BTW, Homer Simpson, a TV icon, has defied the short life syndrome of network TV longer than any human being. Quite a success in his field.
