Didn't think much of earlier races, but I'll look in on the late P3 and late DD.
R8
VALLEY FLING gets a much better post and has good experience on this course. SOLIANTU returns to turf but looks like a herd-horse. OLIVIA'S AFFAIR stretches out for Collazo and tries turf. The few wire jobs on this course at this meet have come from sprinters stretching out when the rails were up (22 ft today). This one is bred OK for turf and if she takes to the lawn she will be tough to run down. QUESTION ANSWERED has a nifty 5f turf drill over at the Nelson Jones farm. I didn't know they had a turf course there but with one of the Jones' boys as the owner I'll do a little saver on this one in spite of the oh-fer trainer.
R9
The ML maker looks to have this one pegged. Both TWISTED CORD and BRIGADOON have won this starter condition before. 'CORD's post isn't that great at this distance. MISS GINALIE is turning into a win machine and is in good hands. She could go forward again. DOC'S TREASURE won here with a wire job two back. She was inside on that day when the rail was "gold". She will probably vie with 'CORD for the lead.
R10
With the rails up it puts a premium on speed as the course will tighten up and it's a short run to the turn. TAKE A LOOK is quick from the blocks and should lead them into the lane. MIGHTY PATRIOT should be breathing down her neck by then and keeps the leading man. LADY FENWICK ran down 'LOOK in her last but 'PATRIOT had her number in the previous two. ZIP ZIP BOOM gets an important rider change but will need some racing luck to run down the ones mentioned.
