Stan, the author lived in Salt Lake and accepted a job
In Boston. Packed up, made the move and once he arrived
he found out that the job offer was not there. Stan then
was displaced for some time.
I was working the other end of the business. At about
the same time I was involved in a bad automobile accident
and was down for a couple months.

Charlestown had been doing well up until yesterday...
So goes horse racing
