New York -WABC, January 28 , 2005) — The Fire Department is reporting a serious steam leak from a burst pipe at the Empire State Building.



Department officials are at the scene. An initial report says the leak is two floors below the observation deck. The Fire Department says no there are no injuries or evacuations.

It's not yet known what caused the steam leak.

There was steam pouring out of a vent very high up on the building, which set off a fire alarm at the building
