This is an incredible story. Just as young David saved the Israelites from certain defeat by the vastly superior Philistine army, likewise this young Michigan boy saved his sister from an older and larger brute.

I was thinking along similar lines. Michigan might have to pass a law outlawing slingshots -- at least in the possession of "white privilege". :coffee:

Got my first gun at 13. Have since purchased 4 more. None of them have escaped and killed any one. Guns are not the problem, it is the lack of morals, brought on by social media, and mental health issues.

On the other hand, maybe the slingshot is his weapon of choice. He got off two shots and he scored 2 fer 2.

That town is 96.5% white and has a little over 10k residents, it was most likely a white on white crime.

Other than a BB gun I didn't own a gun till I was 18, but have been shooting real guns till I was 7. My dad had an bunch of guns and ammo when I was a kid, none of it locked and I was home alone a lot. I was not to touch one unless there was in intruder, two guns in the house were loaded. I knew where they were. I am sure there are still plenty of juvenile mature enough to be allowed to shoot and have guns around them, just not as many as days gone by.



If Alec Baldwin knew the gun safety I did at 7, Halyna Hutchins would be alive.


In that cause a man in his 60's should be nowhere near a gun.
