love this quote from the sample chapter.
.... and Sun King went off a juicy 2/1.
I 't think 2/1 is a juicy price unless you feel the horse should be 3/5 or so, and even then, maybe a good price, but definitely not juicy. Juicy prices are like 9/1, 15/1 etc :)
Can't agree with you more Jarrod, Juicy 2-1 shots will lead you right to the poor house.

The daily special at our local dinner on day recently was "Gourmet Cube Steak!"
Bet is was juicy, too. :D

why would u use the word "juicy" to describe anything associated W/ horse racing anyway? too many other, more appropriate adjectives

Is this a better use for "Juicy"? My wife came home from shopping today and said she had now seen everything. Seems as she saw a young girl with low hip huggers jeans on and the word "Juicy" was written across the jeans on her back side.
This must be what she saw :

Be warned
she gave "Off the Charts," a mediocre book at best, 4 stars out of 5 as well as "Go for the Green," which nobody here (almost nobody) liked.
"Handicapping for Bettor or Worse," which no one here cared for got 4 1/2 stars.
Didn't see anything she didn't like. Wish she was one of my teachers in college.
Talk about an easy grader!
I'd take her reviews with a huge lick of salt.
