I can't load and run my A+10 software I purchased years ago. The problem started within the last week. The usual messages "Testing Internet Connection" and "Connection Active" came up, however, the program didn't load.

I searched the internet and found that A+ Consulting Services, Inc sells a final version of A+ 10. I believe the final version does not connect to their their web site allowing downloading of their proprietary data files.

Following is link to their web site where I recently purchased A+ final version 10.

A decision has been made and for the remainder of our time online and possibly through the end of our hosting service, we will be selling A+ Thorobred for $105. To order now, click here:

[ A+ Thorobred 10.0 ($105) ]

This is the EXACT SAME PROGRAM we sold for $329 for the past 10+ years.
The only difference is that we will no longer be providing Past Performance files.

You will need to purchase them from BRIS or Trackmaster.

I ordered the software and they took payment through my PayPal. Later, I recieved the message "A+ Thorobred is no longer in business". I hope I get a refund from A+ Consulting Services, Inc.

The company is now out of business and there is no contact person.

I am looking to buy this final version. If you are willing to sell me a copy, would you please make sure the software is the final version and it works.

I had the same problem years ago with a program called Focus 2000. The author sold me software that I couldn't use once they decided to go out of business. Like A+, another unusable program that I liked and used frequently.

Advice to software authors. If you sell software and go out of business, please allow your customers to continue using the program they purchased from you. Customers should not have to depend on you in any way to continue using legally purchased software you decided to abandon.

I hope someone can help me out.

Thanks,
Gene

You can try using the contact form at Trackmaster here https://www.trackmaster.com/contactus and they might have contact info for the developer.
