I predict the Mets will finish in 3rd place.. Behind the Phillies and Atlanta..

They may be good in a few years when Wright matures.. Still have some big holes in their team..

You see, there are different years. There is last year and there is this year..

LAST year, they finished in 4th, this year I think they will finish in 3rd place..

If you need me to go over it again, let me know..

Yes. Please go over it again. From http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17215That's a ton of money to end up in 4th place again :-)
Please explain to me how that is not a prediction of fourth place.

Not going to be baited into this argument.. You sound like my sister when we were 6 years old..

I won't argue back, you're a Mets fan, that's punishment enough..

The Mets certainly can't do any worse in 2005. They are coming off of a few very lean seasons. Lets hope for the best.

I just don't think buying hired assasins is the way to win.. You have to have and keep some homegrown talent and keep the same players together to become a team.. The Yankees of 10 years ago were a great example.. They were a great team and they had mostly the same guys over and over each year. Once Big Stein started buying these heartless overpaid players, they haven't won a WS since..

Hey, the Phillies did absolutely nothing this offseason (except get an average pitcher in Lieber).. So at least your team is trying to inspire the fans..

(I still cannot believe the Mets traded Kasimir!!)

Why don't all you avid fans.......there are plenty of you start your own fantasy league.....you could put up $500 a piece....have some sort of a draft of players with prizes for different catagories???
My husband and several of my racetrack pals at Santa Anita are in a FL, they do a draft in early spring......select 4 or 5 players and carry thru the entire season. There are other racetrack leagues that allow you to trade players or buy and sell them. I am not a fan, so I don't know all the angles here, but I'm sure you guys do......the baseball nuts seem to really enjoy these things.
PA? would it be legal.
Suff, Sq, Zaff, ceejay, hammer and Irish SL.....what say you? :)
