Well with the "Big Day" only two weeks away. I thought I'd post some stats from last years contest.
261 contestants
$31,320, the total amount of bets place by all contestants.
$22,534.40, amount collected.
-$8,785.60, bottom-line for all wagers.
59, players who actually turned a profit.
3, players who did not cash a single bet.
$151.20, largest one day total for any player.
This two day contest is always a lot of fun !! My wife & I attend simply for the spectacle & ability to share some views with the "kingpins" of the sport. Will be televised on taped delay by ESPN. Since only 23% of all the winners of the qualifiers even turned a profit. If you're in,doesn't take a herculean effort to come away with a nice payday!!
