anyone can get me to a free site this is what i need to find

i need a site that you type a horse name in and get its career record on turf and dirt and any other surfaces. I try to use equibase but it fails in this specific task, unless i am doing something wrong

Thanks in advance.

When you enter a horse's name in the search box on the green navigation bar and click the search (magnifying glass) icon, then scroll down there's a "filter statisics" section there's a drop down to select "surface" as well as "race type" which will display the horse's career record by surface as well as broken down by year.

I second that

I usually buy every year but now only do it every other year unless there is something Jim adds in there then I would buy it annually

I've used this one for years, and quite a bit of additional information that has been supplied by breeders and owners.

There is so much RANDOMNESS to the allocation of gnetic materail through meiosis, and then with epigenetic influences through comtroller genes at work, predicting ANY Individuals prowess as a race horse BEFORE they are born is almost impossible.

The vast majority of blood stock people cherry pick anyway rather than sceintifically look at ALL the matings of similar backgrounds....Cause and effect are next to impossible to find in any single mating.

Population genetics is a far cry from the genetics of a single mating.

BS.
If you track breeding you can get a better than random idea of a horses
proclivity to early speed, liking the turf, first time starter winning, etc. Many years of following such info helps in determining what a horse may do in a more than just purely random outcome.

PROSPECTOR on the dirt that bigtime crooked legs, most of them had terrible legs, but they were fast as hell.

As several people have posted links to paid services, I will add Thoroughmanager to the list as a source of sire/progeny data.
