Feels like an important day for him this meet.he was riding a lot of turf for the Kentucky trainers and the turf horses aren't good enough to beat the New York guys. he should do well with the dirt horses though. good kid, and real good rider!

He was horrible today and has been horrible this meet. I know it’s a deep colony but he was asleep at the wheel at the break in races 9 and 10. Not to mention losing the jump on an Assmussen horse to a Cancel/Kentarmaci horse in race 8. I know that this board doesn’t seem to want to criticize people, but he should spend the rest of his summer back in Kentucky at Ellis Park if he has more days like today.

Another Jockey who should have left well enough alone and stayed where he was successful...Gulfstream. Chantel Sutherland made the same bad decision leaving Canada years ago. I think the smartest jockey ever to not make that change was Russel Baze.

It's eight days into the meet and apparently his career is over. Tough crowd.

He has done extremely well at Saratoga in the past. He is riding exactly where he belongs, and any suggestion otherwise is made out of sheer ignorance.

I think the smartest jockey ever to not make that change was Russel Baze.

I don’t know what Baze you are talking about but it’s certainly not Russel the muscle Baze who was a winning machine. 12% ? Lol go do some research. Dude won over 12k races....he may have not made the big money but he was ultra consistent. 12% ? Lmfao

His win percentage when on the "big dog" circuit was indeed 12%.
