GP 10 Cancelled

The troubles at Gulfstream Park on opening day continue. Race 10 today has been cancelled supposedly because of earlier delays and darkness concerns. However, I find that to be a dubious explanation at best because race six is actually scheduled to go off a minute early as I write this. I think a more likely explanation is poor planning since race 10 had a 5:33 PM scheduled post. All wagers will be refunded except for the pick 6 which now becomes a pick 5 and the pick 4 which becomes a pick 3. Magna haters must be reveling.

Yep, 1:31.2 - I think they are still using the old timers :)

With a race that fast they could have fit the 10th in.

The first fraction seemed reasonable (22.91), but the half-mile time was 44.80, which seems obviously wrong. I'd expect a correction to be forthcoming, since it doesn't seem possible for that mob to have set a new world record for the mile.

Cheap conditioned claimers did run a 1:47.51 for 9f, so it's a glib course, but it can't be 1:31.41 fast.
