Picks for Aqueduct Saturday:
R1 #7 Deputies Notebook-Has had excuses in all his starts. He improved with the blinkers and shorter distance last time. Trainer does OK with newly acquired runners.
R2 #5 Beau Tie-Ran well in a pretty tough heat last time out. Switch to top jock should help, and the pace situation looks good.
R3 Pass. ML fav is tough to go against here.
R4 #1 Bohemian Rain-Didn’t care for the slop at all in first start for superior barn. Shortens back to best distance. Like the entrymate too.
R5 #2b Unswept-Timely claim by barn that excels with that move. Has back class and has shown improving form since running in claimers.
R6 #2 Romazzino-Has run 2 good ones since the return from the layoff. Gets blinkers today and the barn does very well with this move
R7 Stevie Stressor-Barn does well with the sprint/route move. Big closer should be competive with this field.
R8 #2 Belong to Sea-She has run very well fresh in the past. Will get the lead here if she wants it.
R9 #2 Gainango-Should clear this field today. Runs his best when able to open up early.
