Remember Jacques Who who ran in Ny in the 70's . Jacques Who had a Habit
(A bad one at that) at finishing second . Great for including in Ex's but a bad
win bet. That was my day today. My top selections, I had no wins
and 5 seconds. Finished 2nd in the 4th race and in races 6 thur 9.
What a way to end the year.

Any of you DB guys have lifetime stats on Jacques Who

Have a Happy And Healthy New Year Everyone

I'm still looking for his complete record, but he was out of the money in all ten starts as a two-year-old in 1972. In his first twenty starts at age three in 1973, he finished second thirteen times and third once without winning.

I remeber him well.
I think his PPs are used as an example in Quirinn's first book.

Overlay,
That the horse I remember. Those stats you posted for 1973
First 20 starts as a 3 yr old had 0 wins and 13 seconds and 1
third.

What was the name of Quirinn's First Book.
I would love to read that passage about Jacques Who.

Thanks Again Guys

I don't mean to steal Tom's thunder, but Quirin's first title was called Winning at the Races. The information about Jacques Who (including an excerpt from his past performances with the win/place/show statistics I cited) was on pages 117-118.

I posted a while back about Schwe La when I meant Jacques Who. Schwe La was a Westcoaster, but same m.o.: few wins >50% seconds.
