Says today might be his last show. Didn't get to hear why, because he went off the air right after he said it! Very prophetic of him

Roger Stein had been talking all Fall about leaving. I was under the impression that his sidekick was continuing on with the show in January. If not these shows are still available:

The "worldtalk" show is smooth, very professional and hosted by two-ex jocks. It's on weekly and shows are archived.

The WWNN show is on Mon-Fri from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern time and on Saturdays (and maybe Sundays) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Trainer JJ (Joe) Graci and bloodstock agent John Perotta are the hosts. The show is "rough" around the edges but many times extremely informative.

It's really a shame that the Capital District Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation in the Albany-Saratoga NY area doesn't put the audio from two of their live shows on the Internet. They have their own television station and have two shows, "Down The Stretch" with Mark Cusano & Mike Veitch; and a call-in show devoted to handicapping with Tom Amello (a schoolteacher and longtime handicapper) and professional Nick Kling who beat the entire 2003 NYRA season based on a two dollar win bet on each of his top newspaper selections.

Both shows have frequent and often multiple per show nationally known guests and interviews.

According to Aaron......they had a falling out with the station, at least Roger did, however, I suspect Roger may be back on another station.
If I hear anything, I'll let you guys know.
They had some good scoops on that show.......I hope it stays on.

I've enjoyed this show and hope it stays on, but I haven't cared at all for the ongoing soap opera over whether it will return. Roger originally indicated months ago that he wanted to give it up, without any mention of difficulties with the station. And at the start of today's show, he talked like if enough people send him e-mails then perhaps he'll come back. Very amateurish stuff.

Despite that and the constant TVG bashing, Roger does tackle some tough issues and keeps it lively. If Roger does hang it up, I hope Aaron and Marc Leufroy keep it going.

According to my sources, Roger is in a contract dispute......chances are good he'll be back......in spite of his signing off "forever".
Let's hope so, because a lot of us do enjoy the show.
