View Full Version : Small Video Problem

I use both Brisbet and Youbet and have a slight video problem with watching races on Brisbet. Every so often the video will freeze for a couple of seconds, then it will be okay.

I never have any problems with the YouBet video. As far as I can tell, they both use Media Player to play the video. I have a cable modem with a good connection and a newer computer.

Of course the simple solution is just use YouBet but I frequent BrisBet alot as you get a cut on your monthly Brisnet bill by betting there. Anybody have any suggestions on how to improve the BrisBet video and does anyone else use both services and notice any difference in video performance?

Thanks for your replies.

Jim

This should fix your Brisbet video problems (for WMP 9 and better)

1) Open up Windows Media Player

2) On the upper left hand corner, click on TOOLS, then PLUG-INS, then OPTIONS

3) The options page should come up. Click on the NETWORK tab.

4) You should now see a page for Streaming Protocols. Where you see UDP, uncheck that and make sure that the UDP box is blank.

5) Click APPLY then OK.

Your Brisbet video problems will then be a thing of the past.

ZMan,

Thank you very much. That fixed it. Best of holidays to you and your family.
