What's the best horse racing in the last couple of years. It doesn't matter if it's about speed or pedigree or money management. I'm talking about fairly recent books. I haven't upgraded my library in the last couple of years

Bobby,

Not sure if this meets your criterion of being fairly recent, but I got a lot out of Steve Fierro's "The Four Quarters of Horse Investing". It showed me a different way to think about setting a value line for each race.

Now if I only followed it. :)

I also liked the latest edition of Calibration Handicapping by Jim Lehane.

Joe Cardello's book "Speed to Spare." Excellent analysis of how to use Beyer figures as part of form cycle/condition handicapping.

I re-read it regularly.

I'll second headhawg's recommendation in both cases. !

Definitely Steve Fierro's book. It will put you in the right frame of mind to win races.

1. Four Quarters of Horse Investing by Steve Fierro- Definitely the book on recordkeeping and value

2. Calibration Handicapping by Jim Lehane- Very interesting perspective on internal fraction handicapping.
